How to play

Simple to learn, satisfying to master

Every level is a fixed, fully visible puzzle. Nothing is random: you see your pieces coming and plan the route.

  1. Pick a pipe

Your hand holds three copper pipes: straights, corners, T-junctions and crosses. Tap one to turn it.

  2. Lay it on the snow

Drag it onto the board. Heat flows from the furnace through every pipe whose openings meet.

  3. Light every cabin

Warm all the cabins before your pieces run out. Pieces you didn't need earn you stars.

The full game has 100 levels that add ice, rocks, old pipes, lodges and a second furnace. Read the complete guide to the rules.

Why players love it

A calm puzzle that makes you think

Heat Lines is made for short, cozy sessions: one more level with your tea, then the village glows a little brighter.

  • 100 levels, 10 chapters

From Pine Hollow to the Northern Lights, each chapter adds a new idea, with gentle breathers and proper brain-teasers along the way.

  • No timers, no energy

Think as long as you like. No lives to run out, no waiting to play the next level.

  • Fair, solvable puzzles

Every level is checked by a solver, so it can always be won from the start. Lantern hints show a move that really leads to a win.

  • Help when you want it

Undo a move, light a Lantern hint, drop in a Wildcard pipe or Thaw a block of ice. Boosters are optional and never required.

  • Plays offline

Every level, the village and the daily puzzle work without a connection, on the train or under a blanket.

  • Rewards for how you play

Each win counts your warm cabins, spare pieces and new stars, then pays Embers to spend in your village.

New ideas as you go

Ice, rocks, old pipes and more

Each chapter brings something new to think about, introduced one at a time so you always know what changed.

  • Ice blocks

Ice melts when heat reaches the tile next to it, opening a new path for your pipes.

  • Rocks

Rocks never move. Find another way around them.

  • Old pipes

Old pipes already on the board carry heat, but you can't move or turn them.

  • Lodges

A lodge only warms up when heat reaches it from two different sides.

  • Two furnaces

Later boards have two furnaces. Heat can start from either one.

  • Crosses and the hold slot

Crosses join all four sides, and the hold slot keeps one piece aside for later.

Warm up the village

A village that works for you

Every win pays Embers. Spend them on ten cozy buildings, and each one gives something back: the Bakery bakes free Lantern hints, the Blacksmith forges Wildcards, the Post office sends a parcel every day, and the Inn adds a bonus to every win.

  • Ten buildings, each with five levels
  • 24 decorations, from a bonfire ring to an ice palace
  • Village Warmth unlocks new board colors and pipe skins
  • Collect what your buildings make with a single tap

Every day

A new puzzle every day

Once you finish level 15, a fresh daily puzzle arrives each morning. Solve it to keep your streak burning: day three brings bonus Coins, and day seven adds a free Lantern.

  • The same puzzle for everyone, with relaxed Mondays and Sundays and a Saturday challenge
  • Its own streak, separate from the main levels
  • Plays offline like every other level
